The Story

A strong passion for agriculture is in our blood, as both of us have generations of farming in our families. We both grew up in Northeast Missouri, Amy in Atlanta and me (Brian) in Callao.

Growing up in rural Missouri included taking livestock to county fairs and shows, sorting and working cattle the morning after playing football under the Friday night lights, waking up multiple times to check on livestock that was about give new life to the farm, and the list goes on.

Fast forward about 15 years, Amy and I have returned from college and moved back to my (Brian) family’s grass based operation. We saw the need in our area for quality grass fed, grass finished beef and started reaching out to fill that need in our community.

Quickly, we realized that quality beef wasn’t the only protein needed, and thus added grass finished lamb and pasture raised chicken and eggs to our lineup of high quality local farm family products for our customers.

We have enjoyed the friendships made through sharing our passion and farm with customers and have satisfaction in knowing that we are providing healthy meals for healthy families.
